Hunting: The Council of State has suspended hunts by way of derogation. Berlato: "Giving certainties to the hunters of the Veneto can and must be done ..".
The Council of State, with its own decree, ordered the immediate suspension of regional resolution no. 1.506 of 20 September 2011 with which the Veneto regional council, on the proposal of the regional hunting councilor Daniele Stival, had regulated the application of the hunts in derogation for the 2011/2012 season.
After the suspension of the regional resolution by the Regional Administrative Court of Veneto, which prevented hunters from exercising their right to hunt by way of derogation for the entire month of October, the best for the migration on our territories of the species object of the hunts in derogation, now the Council of State has once again blocked the hunts by way of derogation more than a month earlier than the scheduled deadline.
The suspension of the hunts in derogation by the TAR of Veneto and by the Council of State were possible only because the commissioner Stival decided, perhaps because badly advised, to apply the derogations in Veneto with an administrative act (resolution of the Giunta) and not by law as it had instead happened in Veneto from 2002 to 2009. In the Lombardy Region, where it was decided this year to copy the methods used by the Veneto in previous years, there was no suspension because it was decided to follow the legislative procedure that does not allow either the Regional Administrative Court or the Council of State to intervene because they have jurisdiction only over administrative acts (Council resolutions) and not over legislative acts.
The stubbornness of the unsuspecting regional councilor for hunting in Veneto, the Northern League Stival, and the incompetence of the hunting leaders who badly advise him, have meant that the hunters of the Veneto have seen their hunting season irremediably compromised, unlike their colleagues. Lombards who, on the other hand, continue to hunt quietly without being disturbed or even teased.
We renew our request to the Regional Councilor Stival to resign and leave his post to someone who understands something more than him in the field of hunting.
If, as we fear, he did not have sufficient self-love to make this decision, we ask the one who appointed him (President Luca Zaia) to revoke the assignment to entrust it to those who have already demonstrated in the past years to make possible what for councilor Stival and for the match Federlega seem, all of a sudden, all of a sudden (and only in Veneto) impossible.
