Statement of the regional associations
With a joint letter, the first of a series of unitary initiatives, the regional representatives of Federcaccia, Arcicaccia, Liberacaccia, Enalcaccia, Italcaccia and ANUUM Migratoristi of theEmilia Romagna requested an urgent meeting with Alessio Mammi, councilor for agriculture and agri-food, hunting and fishing of the Emilia Romagna region. Another theme that can no longer be postponed is that of the wolf, whose ever-growing presence arouses ever greater concern not only in the agricultural and hunting worlds, but of all users, for various reasons, both in rural and anthropised areas. All critical issues which – as the regional associations have reminded the councilor – are generating growing disaffection with the institutions within the hunting environment, with the progressive abandonment of all those voluntary activities, primarily wildlife control, which hunters they make available to the territory and the environment for the free benefit of the entire community.
