HUNTING: “ITALIANS AND HUNTING” AND “ITALIAN HUNTERS AND HUNTING”: THE PRESENTATION OF RESEARCHES IN LECCO ON MAY 16TH.
The presentation tour of the researches "Italians and Hunting" and "Italian Hunters and Hunting" recently commissioned to AstraRicerche by the National Hunting and Nature Committee (CNCN) and by the relevant hunting associations will stop in Lecco on 16 May. to FACE Italia (Federcaccia, Liberacaccia, AnuuMigratoristi, Enalcaccia).
Professor Enrico Finzi will illustrate the results of the sociological survey - at 17.30 pm at the conference room of Confindustria (Lecco, via Caprera 4) with free admission.
Marzio Maccacaro - vice president of CNCN and commercial director of Fiocchi Munizioni (Lecco company leader in Italy and in the world for the production of cartridges for hunting and sport) - explains the meaning of the initiative: "Professor Finzi will propose a synthesis of the two research on the subject of hunting which involved 2.000 and 1.000 respondents respectively, thus qualifying as a particularly in-depth sociological investigation.
If the results of the first research allow us to know better how much people know about hunting and if they appreciate it or not (for example, the majority of Italians, 55%, are not against it, while 57% are in favor of hunting. dei Lombardi), with the second we focused on the identikit of the hunter, his passions, his behavior ".
The two researches - for the high scientific basis - allow the hunting universe to counter the attacks carried out by environmental and animal welfare associations, often on the basis of superficial data and unverifiable petitions regarding the authenticity of the signatures.
Among the curiosities that will also be illustrated the political data: “The hunters have not yet identified among the politicians someone who takes the issue of hunting to heart. Those who will be able to listen to them and be the spokesperson for their requests will be able to secure an electorate of no small importance. And Professor Finzi will tell us how many votes we are talking about ”, concludes Maccacaro.
The conference enjoys the patronage of the Province of Lecco and the Municipality of Lecco.
