Suspensions requested
On November 6, Lac, Wwf, Lipu, Lndc Animal Protection and Lav presented an appeal to the Council of State against the ruling of the TAR Lombardia on hunting calendar. The associations with the appeal ask as a precaution to suspend hunting throughout the territory and in any case to anticipate the closures of Sassello and Cesena, of the Woodcock, of all ducks, rails, sandpipers and waders.
Still uncertainties
The first useful hearing for the discussion could be that of November 28, if the appeal is assigned to the sixth section of the Council of State, as per the distribution of the matters in progress. The wait is therefore extended by another three weeks, as is the uncertainty.
Institutions and associations
Animal rights and environmental associations have filed this appeal against several entities. These are the Lombardy Region, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, ANUUMigratoristi, Federcaccia, Associazione Nazionale Libera Caccia and Agrivenatoria biodiversitalia.
