Federcaccia Lombardy has prepared this summary based on the VINCA Decree issued on 7 June 2022. The Lombardy Region will adopt and publish the official calendar by 15 June. The following summary is therefore not official and could be disregarded by calendar that will be published. For this reason Federcaccia Lombardia reserves all comments and evaluations only following the publication of the calendar.
If the plant presented is certainly an improvement of the one seen in April, right now it can only criticize the decision to suspend the withdrawal of at least the Moretta (for the sole risk of confusion with the Moretta tabaccata) and of the Wild turtledove (huntable also in pre-opening through the application of the national management plan), as well as the Pochard (species in good condition in Italy and for which the National Management Plan has finally been presented for discussion). Furthermore, the reading of the Vinca Decree reveals interpretations of the Ispra Opinion that are not shared both with reference to the openings (although the Region still deviates from the opinion) and with reference to the January closures: in fact, it would seem that all forms of aquatic hunting will close on January 19, when the same ISPRA opinion would allow hunting from stalking until January 31. Also with reference to Cesena and Tordo Sassello it is believed that the withdrawal could have been kept open until January 31st.
