A Montelupone (province of Macerata) took place on traditional conference organized byTerritorial area of Macerata hunting 2 in collaboration with the local section of the Federcaccia. The event, whose title was "Research and management: the future of sustainable harvesting of huntable wildlife“, Saw the participation of distinguished guests. In particular, there was talk of the wild boar control plan approved in recent weeks, by new regional wildlife plan and above all the imminent approval of the hunting calendar 2018-2019.
The approval of this last text will take place on June 15th. The dates and indications will be substantially similar to those of the last hunting season. The only exception will be the rock partridge hunting: for this species, a modification must be respected that takes its cue from the national management plan and from the specific course for censuses and sampling plan. The same ATC Macerata 2 has set in motion to establish some areas of respect, in order to guarantee the management of the animal.
The adaptation of the national management plan will continue at the same time. A further novelty for the Marche hunters will be that of selection calendar for ungulates: the start was set for the first time at 22th April, while hunting in derogation will not undergo any change whatsoever.
