Approval awaited
THE MARCHE REGIONAL COUNCIL HAS APPROVED THE REGIONAL HUNTING CALENDAR FOR THE HUNTING SEASON 2023 -2024. The Forestry Sector for Wildlife and Hunting Policies of the Region has issued this statement:
The Regional Council, on the proposal of Councilor Andrea Maria Antonini, approved the regional hunting calendar for the 2023-2024 hunting season. The calendar approved today in the Council is one of the most extensive in Italy in terms of number of huntable species and hunting days.
Some details
The result of a work shared with all the subjects of the hunting world for its realization, this calendar was created above all to give greater security to the hunters of the Marche region. That is, to prevent any suspensions and/or interruptions following administrative appeals. The 2023-2024 regional hunting calendar of the Marches is not only one of the most extensive at a national level, as mentioned for times and species that can be hunted. To date it is certainly the one with the highest number of pre-opening days in Italy. In addition, the huntability of species such as the Ruff and Turtle Dove has been guaranteed. This year, following the adoption of the national management plan, the Moriglione was also reintroduced as a species that can be procured.
Certainties for Marche hunters
The regional council has adopted a hunting calendar (which can be consulted and this link) which allows the collection of the largest number of huntable species for the maximum possible time frame, in compliance with the laws and recent sentences. The objective is, therefore, the certainty of timing and continuity of the hunting activity, preventing appeals (source: Arci Caccia).
