THENational Free Hunting Association has listed a number of sustainable proposals to complement the 2018-2019 hunting calendar of Tuscany. Specifically, ANLC would like hunting notwithstanding the wild pigeon and the collared dove. The request derives from the fact that the two species are in dangerous increase, especially in the period of sowing and harvesting: the damage to farmers is enormous, without forgetting the health risks associated with the pigeon. The levy in derogation could therefore be a good solution.
The association then asked to evaluate the possible extension of the hunting for corvids and wood pigeons between 1st and 10th February, as required by current legislation. The list of sustainable proposals continues with the possible pre-opening quail hunt, to be precise on the day of September 12th next. Libera Caccia would also like freedom of movement for the hunter in the twenty days of mobility, an argument that was accepted in recent years after the approval of Law 3 of 1994.
Among other things, a change to the ownership of the fixed stalking with palmipeds and waders in specific areas where it is no longer allowed, a serious risk for historical and traditional stalking. The reference went to the marshes of Fucecchio and Massaciuccoli. Finally, ANLC would intend to eliminate the unequal treatment among Tuscan and Umbrian hunters for what concerns the remote booking.
