The Hunting Calendar has been published Veneto for the next hunting season (2025-2026), it will begin with the pre-opening, on the 7th, 10th, 13th, and 14th of September 2025, in which the hunting of wild fauna specimens from hides will be permitted.
Allowed species
Specifically, it will be possible to collect specimens belonging to the following species:
1) Jay (Garrulus glandarius)
2) Magpie (Pica pica)
3) Black Crow (Corvus corone)
4) Hooded Crow (Corvus corone cornix)
5) Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus)
2. General opening
Without prejudice to the provisions of the previous point 1 and the subsequent points 3, 8, and 9, the time frame from 21 September 2025 to 31 January 2026 will permit the shooting, both in a stray form and from a hide (with the exception, for the species Woodcock and Snipe), of wild fauna belonging to the following species and for the periods indicated below:
a) Species huntable from 21 September 2025 to 31 December 2025:
1) Partridge (Perdix perdix)
2) Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus)
3) Wild rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus)
b) Huntable species from 21 September 2025 to 30 October 2025:
1) Quail (Coturnix coturnix)
c) Species huntable from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 2025:
1) Skylark (Alauda arvensis)
d) Huntable species from 21 September 2025 to 31 December 2025:
1) Blackbird (Turdus merula), in the month of September only the hunting of Blackbirds is permitted exclusively in the form of hunting from a hide.
e) Huntable species from 21 September 2025 to 19 January 2026:
1) Woodcock (Scolopax rusticola)
f) Huntable species from 21 September 2025 to 19 January 2026, in the months of September and January only the hunting of the species listed below is permitted
exclusively in the form of stalking hunt:
1) Jay (Garrulus glandarius)
2) Magpie (Pica pica)
3) Black Crow (Corvus corone)
4) Hooded Crow (Corvus corone cornix)

1) Wood pigeon (Columba palumbus), in the months of September and January only, the hunting of wood pigeons is permitted exclusively in the form of hunting from a hide.

1) Tufted Duck (Aythya fuligula)
m) Species huntable from 21 September 2025 to 30 November 2025:
1) Common hare (Lepus europeus)
n) Species huntable from 1 October 2025 to 30 November 2025, exclusively on the basis of numerical hunting plans formulated on the basis of specific censuses:
1) White hare (Lepus timidus)
2) Black grouse (Lyrurus tetrix)
3) Rock partridge (Alectoris graeca)
Game bags and more
The calendar, approved once the advisory opinions of the National Wildlife and Hunting Technical Committee (CTFVN) and the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA) have been acquired, indicates the species permitted for hunting and the relative hunting periods, the number of possible hunting days per week, the maximum daily and seasonal bag and the start and end time of the hunting day.
