HIT 2015: An alliance for the environment between Expo and European governance, starting from five concrete proposals. On 15 February 2015 at 11,00 at the Vicenza Fair (Hall 7.1 - Room 7.1.2a).
A new environmental culture conveyed through concrete initiatives and solutions, with an eye to Europe and the extraordinary showcase represented by Expo 2015. This is the focus of the event "The Union does the environment" to be held on February 15th at the Fair of Vicenza, as part of HIT (Hunting, Individual Protection and Target Sports).
The initiative, organized by CNCN (National Hunting and Nature Committee), is the result of the design synergy between subjects with different histories and identities - world of protected areas, agriculture, hunting and university sectors - merged into five projects that intend to respond to the need of a new balance between man and the environment, built in legality and capable of generating new opportunities for the economy and employment, through a pragmatic approach.
These projects have Europe as their natural horizon, the only real place for discussion in which to explore complex issues such as the common management of large carnivores, European governance of the fauna and a virtuous relationship between hunters, environmentalists and farmers in the States of the Union. On the merits of these topics it is possible, starting from the project sharing that has been created between the representatives of different sectors, to finally make a qualitative leap in the debate at European level.
Just on the eve of EXPO 2015, whose theme is "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", there is also the need to give substance to the many proposals regarding the issues of environmental sustainability, compliance with the rules governing hunting, and the enhancement of resources environmental in economic terms.
These issues will be at the center of the event, in which various associations in the sector and representatives of national and EU institutions will participate.
All this to lay the pragmatic foundations for a systemic environmental culture, not made up of particularities and ideologies, but extended to the various players in the field, all equally interested in re-establishing a fruitful balance between man and nature.
