The President of ANUU Migrationists, Marco Castellani, wishes the hunters his best wishes for the next opening of the hunting season, recalling his commitment to respect the rights and traditions of the hunting people.
Dear Friends, the opening of 2011 is almost upon us as well. The lucky ones have already been able to enjoy the first days of hunting in the Regions and Provinces that have allowed the so-called "pre-openings". The ANUUMigratoristi is fighting hard to ensure respect for our hunting traditions, our culture of men strongly connected to Nature and its rules, thus finally arriving in our country to have the same rights and duties as our European colleagues.
We are not extremists, but rather we fight against extremism and exploitation, whether of a political or animal rights nature, which would like to deprive us of these opportunities.
We are not open to any unjustified concession or to take steps backwards: we want respect for scientific and legal truth and for this reason, for this alone, we are open to any confrontation.
We simply demand respect for us and for the rules that also the various institutions and bodies that deal with wildlife-hunting issues must follow. It is a difficult challenge but one that we will continue to face with determination.
In the meantime, I wish you with all my heart to experience this new opening and the whole season with great serenity and satisfaction, with the usual prudence, education and respect towards other hunters and towards farmers and their work.
A big hug and a very cordial good luck to all.
