Il National Union of Hunters has issued a note to address the issue of medical certificates that are required to obtain the hunting license. The release takes place through the presentation of this document, for which however they are necessary other certificates to certify the degree of sight, hearing ability, psychic integrity and the absence of drugs in the blood. The question then arises: what is the role of coroner if then the tests are carried out by other doctors?
The association believes that this figure is not responsible for thesuitability for the use of weapons. However, it should be remembered that it is a public official, given that they are recognized declarative, certification and authorizing powers. Consequently, when the certification of psycho-physical fitness is not issued because other medical certificates are needed, a complaint must be made to the judicial authority for omissions of official documents.
An alternative solution could be that of the appeal to the Regional Administrative Court against the competent ASL. For the union they are both possible solutions, but not taken for granted. So, as long as nothing is done in this sense, nothing will change: the hope is to see a greater interventionism of the hunting associations.
