With its own sentence, the TAR of the Marche fully accepted the appeal of the animal rights activists of the LAC, Lega Abolizione Caccia, thus definitively canceling the resolution of the Regional Council authorizing the selection hunting of roe and fallow deer species in the territories of the Provinces of Macerata and Pesaro Urbino. Previously the resolution n.1172 of the Regional Council of the Marches dated 8 August 2011, containing the authorization to select hunting for the roe and fallow deer species in the past 2011-2012 Hunting Season, had already been suspended by order of the TAR following the appeal animal rights activist.
According to the animal rights activists and the TAR, the resolution is illegitimate as it was approved in violation of the law for not having considered the negative opinion of ISPRA, in the case of the Province of Macerata, and for not even having consulted the Higher Institute for Protection and Environmental Research; according to the animal rights activists of LAC, this sentence of the TAR will have immediate effect also on the most recent resolution with which the Province of Macerata had again authorized the selection hunt for the roe and fallow deer species.
