HUNTING: “Brothers of Italy today in the Agriculture Committee voted, in a coherent and compact way, all the amendments in favor of the hunting world. The amendments had been presented by the Northern League's regional councilors Floriano Massardi and Alex Galizzi (and also signed by Barbara Mazzali and Paolo Franco) and had already been approved during the vote on the opinion for the regulation on hunting. Today's passage to the Agriculture Committee should not have created difficulties, instead during the session only the Group of Brothers of Italy remained compact and consistent on the favorable opinion. Result: amendments rejected.
Unfortunately, good intentions are not enough, the votes count. Ours were there, convinced and compact. We recall the importance of these measures for an important slice of Lombard citizens who practice the hunting tradition (70 thousand families involved, 130 gun companies, 1,5 national GDP points). For us there are no Serie B citizens and therefore we will continue to defend their rights as well. If someone does not join us, we will come to terms with it and continue alone ”.
