Everything is ready for Wednesday 1 August 2012, the leaders of the Associazione Cacciatori Veneti - Confavi will participate in the event in front of the headquarters of the Veneto Region to request the issue of the provision that would allow the application of the hunting regime in derogation on the regional territory for the hunting season 2012-2013.
The president of ACV-Confavi, Maria Cristina Caretta, explained about the issue, "We are ready to make the request of the thousands of Venetian hunters who ask that they be allowed to exercise an opportunity explicitly provided for by the European Union, remembering that Directive 2009/147 / EEC explicitly provides for and allows hunts to be exercised in derogation, considered as forms of hunting strongly rooted in Venetian traditions but also considered as useful tools for the protection of agricultural crops that are irremediably damaged by excessive presence of some animal species abundantly present in our territories ".
Caretta then said, "We have already received confirmation from the Region that a delegation of the Associazione Cacciatori Veneti - Confavi will be received by the President of the Regional Council, Clodovaldo Ruffato and by the group leaders present in the Regional Council, who will be able to hear the reasons who pushed the President Maria Cristina Caretta and the municipal leaders of the seven Venetian provinces to come down to Venice in defense of all Venetian hunters ”.
