Palasaccio hunting in Tuscany: A journey halfway between hunting, naturalistic, historical and cultural: this and more is the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the unforgettable Mugello.
Il Palasaccio is a solid hunting company with a beautiful history of passions, friendship and love for the land behind it, which was founded in 1989 in the evocative context of Mugello.
And the hunters who respond to the call of the beautiful hunting estate, the surprising scenery and the enviable comforts (think that a swimming pool is also available), certainly there is no shortage.
It is especially the wild and strong nature, fragrant of primordial, that one cannot resist, because the Mugello is this type of scenery it offers, within which to live unforgettable hunting experiences.
Such beautiful territories correspond to a variety of wild game that leaves you speechless: you can devote yourself to hunting small and medium game; partridges, partridges, pheasants and hares are an example, but most of them put themselves to the test by challenging wild boar, mouflon, fallow deer, roe deer and red deer. And the territories within which the hunt is carried out are treated in detail, for the safety of the visitor, but above all for a good quality of life for the wild.
All around it is a hospitable and relaxing estate, inhabited by courteous and professional people, whose love for nature and for the sport in contact with it is evident, and can be understood from the first visit.
When guests of Il Palasaccio are hunters who also love cultural tourism and relaxation, the owners will be able to direct them to places of historical and artistic interest, relaxing and pleasant, of which Tuscany and Emilia Romagna abound.
Even the lodgings are comfortable, stylish, but above all not far from the hunting reserve, and basically this is what hunters are interested in.
Once an area in which dogs could only be trained, Il Palasaccio recently became a hunting farm, but immediately managed the immense 600 hectares of land with confidence, all made available to hunters for the collection of game.
As it is natural that it is, within the hunting company, hunting is possible only by following the regional hunting calendar: in principle, therefore, it is possible to hunt ungulates from 1 August to 15 March, birds and hares from the third week of September to 31. January, and from 1 February to the third week of September the company will open its doors to hunters interested in training their dogs with shooting at birds.
The 600 hectares made available are uninhabited, if we exclude a small office and a meeting place that corresponds to a characteristic and familiar country cottage. To keep the charm of the place unchanged, some rules have been imposed on hunters, all of common sense and respect for nature: first of all the need to collect the shells from the ground after firing. Obligation for the hunter is also that of the recovery of the injured game, to avoid unnecessary suffering to the game.
Given the comforts offered, Il Palesaccio proves to be an excellent holiday scenario not only for hunters, but also for families with little interest in hunting, who will be able to experience the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines to the fullest, admiring all its artistic beauties, but above all naturalistic and dedicating himself to a tide of sports all in contact with nature.
Among the most popular excursions there is certainly the Medici Itinerary which lasts a whole day and will take the guest to visit all the places that have seen the evolution of this famous and powerful family.
No less attractive is the excursion to Lake Bilancino to the Medici Villa of Cafaggiolo and to the Trebbio Castle.
And these are just some of the possible experiences to be associated with the love and passion for hunting that is ancient and strong in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
