Hunting: Perugia, the Provincial Council discusses possible changes to the reform of the Territorial Areas of Hunting.
The last Provincial Council dealt with the regional reform of the Territorial Areas of Hunting. The discussion arose from an agenda, which came to the Council with a favorable and unanimous opinion, presented by the president of the third Permanent Council Commission of the Province Luca Baldelli: "Thanks to the contributions of the councilors Enrico Bastioli (who had presented the motion which gave rise to the executive committee of the Commission) and Giampiero Panfili, in the competent committee we have done a great job, examining all aspects of the ATC ". "Now we are hearing rumors of reforms that seem hasty to us - added Baldelli - Considering that the Umbria Region is preparing a bill and that among the key points is the establishment of a single ATC and the establishment of 5 operational units, we also ask us to undertake a participatory path: that our opinion is heard. We also want to understand the rationale of these draft measures: What will the costs be? Will the nomination criteria guarantee collegiality? We absolutely need clarification on this ".
In his speech Bastioli, leader of the reformist Socialists, added: “We want to discuss together with the other institutional bodies and understand the reason for the reforms and all aspects of these. It is our task and we want to do it in the best possible way ”. Panfili of the PDL of the same opinion: “In the province we have a unanimous opinion on the ATC. We have done meticulous work through numerous commissions but our suggestions in the Region have remained unheard. We cannot manage the hunting activity in this way ”. The document was approved with 19 votes in favor, no against and no abstentions.
