Hunting pride, great success for the garrison organized by hunters in front of the headquarters of ISPRA, Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research; more than 1000 hunters present.
More than 1.000 hunters participated in the presidium of Ozzano dell'Emilia at the ISPRA headquarters; The purpose of the initiative is to bring to the attention of public opinion and the Government the costs and services provided by an Institute deemed to be inadequate, as regards the wildlife-hunting sector, and conditioned by animalist and anti-hunting thought and ideology. This is what emerged from the interventions that took place during the presidium, where some opinions issued by ISPRA were stigmatized, not least that during a hearing in the Senate, regarding the Legislative Decree No. 24 of 2014 June 91 regarding the use and capture of live decoys and in response to a parliamentary question. In this case, ISPRA's choice of field in supporting arguments that are questionable from a technical-scientific point of view is clear.
In the presence of the National President of the Free Hunting Sparvoli, the CPA Fiumani, the vice-president ANUU Piana, the Regional President ACL Bravo, the Hon. Borghesi (Northern League) and numerous provincial leaders belonging to all the Ass. initiatives in this regard, including the presentation of further parliamentary questions, aimed at shedding light on the role and on some expenditure items of the Institute which weighs on the treasury for over 140 million euros.
The event was therefore not addressed to the Minister of the Environment, to whom we renew our esteem for the commitment, but rather a stimulus to improve the efficiency of the State, of the Public Bodies, through a reduction of public spending on the basis of parameters that leverage costs / benefits. A delegation of Venatori Executives was received by the ISPRA Executive Dott. Landi to whom strong criticisms were expressed towards the Organization.
The concrete result obtained is that on Monday 4 August the ISPRA National Summits will meet the leaders of the recognized and non-recognized Hunting Association, to give an answer to the requests that will be formulated by the Associations themselves through the preparation of a detailed and articulated agenda. Satisfaction was expressed by the Hunting Pride Committee which sincerely thanks all the numerous hunters from all over Italy who in some cases faced a trip of hundreds of kilometers. In light of what has been achieved, it can be said that it was worth it.
