Hunting: Liguria, the Region approves the bill by Francesco Bruzzone containing changes to the contents of the regional law on the protection of homeothermic fauna and hunting.
Liguria - On the subject of hunting, the Regional Council of Liguria today approved the bill of the regional councilor of the Northern League Francesco Bruzzone. The legislative assembly has given its approval to a bill aimed at adapting and updating the contents of the regional law on the protection of homeothermic fauna and on hunting sampling to the new text of the national framework regulation n. 157/1992.
"In particular, with regard to hunting times, the law introduces the possibility of regulating the sampling in the month of February - until the 10th - and with regard to the application of Article 9 of the Community Directive 2009/147 / EC, establishes how to correctly apply the levy in derogation for avifauna species not included in the huntable list ”, explains Bruzzone.
“It is also specified which are the subjects, making use of the supports of which the Region can promote initiatives aimed at training and retraining of hunters; the procedures are established by which the provincial hunting wildlife plans are approved and come into force, and the proceeds of the regional taxes paid annually by those who practice hunting are shared ”, he adds.
"These new allotment criteria, in addition to guaranteeing the Region adequate resources for legal compliance and for the increase of studies and scientific research in support of hunting, are based on the principle of indicating to the Provinces how the funds made available to them by avoiding extra-hunted distractions. Now the Provinces will have the possibility to manage regional revenues respecting a very specific law ”concludes the Group Leader of the Northern League in the Regional Council and candidate for the European Elections in the list of the Northern League - North Western District.
