"What reported on the decision of the TAR on the hunting regulations approved by the Province of Savona is not entirely correct, and in this regard, also in order to avoid alarmism and dampen easy enthusiasm, it is necessary to make some clarifications". Thus declares Francesco Bruzzone, group leader of the Northern League in the Regional Council of Liguria, regarding the decision of the TAR of Liguria on the hunting regulation adopted by the provincial body of Savona. “In spite of what was affirmed with triumphal tones by the promoters of the appeal, in fact, the Regional Administrative Court expressed an opinion against only three aspects, out of a total of ten, one of which is of a purely procedural and technical nature - he continues -. Three out of ten, rather than a 'success', as some have defined it, appears more like a Pyrrhic victory, especially if we consider that the Province now has the possibility to intervene on the three disputed points and modify them where required, update them and resubmit them ".
“In many cases, the Province, in drafting the regulation, has simply adopted and applied elements dictated by the new national regulations on the subject, thus adapting a text for the territory that for a long time needed to be updated - underlines Bruzzone -. The most important parts, which represent the backbone of the regulation, remain, and the TAR had no objection to them ".
"And, above all, going into detail - he concludes -, it is completely wrong and misleading to state that it will no longer be possible to use 'live calls', since their use is provided for by the regulation previously in force: the negative opinion of the TAR in this regard in fact, it does not cancel the legislation already in force ".
