Hunters under control
The 30/2024 hunting season ended last Thursday, January 2025. The Provincial Police of Ferrara was involved in hunting surveillance with 400 hunters checked, issuing 73 administrative reports.
Who intervened in the territory
In the surveillance activity, women and men in uniform of the Province were assisted by the voluntary hunting guards and the forestry Carabinieri, as usually happens in situations of this type.
The other regions
“During the season – Commander Roberta Artioli takes stock – no incidents occurred and the sanctions were mostly for failure to respect the distances of hunters from homes”. In addition to the Ferrara double-barrelled shotguns, hunters from other provinces of the region and from the Veneto, Marche and Tuscany regions were also checked (source: Province of Ferrara).
