At the Vicenza Hunting Show meeting point between the Veneto Region and the State Forestry Corps in the management of hunting in the region.
The Veneto Region and the State Forestry Corps met at the Fiera di Vincenza, on the occasion of the 2012 Hunting Show, to agree on a memorandum of understanding with which their collaboration in the field of wildlife and hunting is strengthened.
Signatories of the document were the councilor for hunting of the Veneto Region, Daniele Stival, and the Regent Commander of the State Forestry Corps, Daniele Zovi., whose meeting took place today in Vicenza during the third day of the 2012 Hunting Show, the Hunting Fair. According to the content of the document, the Region and the Forestry will set up a line of exchange of their respective knowledge, problems and aspects concerning the specific sector.
In particular, the exchange of information with the Forestry will mainly concern aspects of wildlife-hunting planning, of the regulation of hunting withdrawals, of capture systems, of live call breeding as well as of the wildlife control plans with above all those concerning the Faunistic Zone of the Alps.
Thereby it will be possible to optimize the administrative acts of the Region with the possibility of accompanying them with adequate technical investigations and at the same time it will be possible to optimize the institutional activities of the State Forestry Corps which in turn will provide the Region with its collaboration with regard to particular needs for the control of the territory in terms of wildlife and hunting. The Forestry will also collaborate with the Region in providing periodic reports on its activities in the field and providing support in the various technical activities of the Regional competence.
Councilor Stival commented on the agreement, "With this signature, a very important partnership is strengthened, which will bring mutual benefits in the management of such a delicate sector as the wildlife-hunting one. In recent years the relationships that have followed have been very positive and from today they find a new evolution, thanks to which we will improve the approach to many issues, administrative and management of the activity in the area "; in this circumstance, the councilor for hunting expressed his compliments to the organization of the 2012 Hunting Show "for the qualitative and public success achieved".
According to Stival "The attendance forecast is settling on a plus 20%, an important result, which testifies to how the hunting world is composed not only of many men and women, but also of so much genuine passion, which also translates into important economic benefits thanks to an important induced both for its vastness and for the commercial return it produces " .
