Hunting: Siena, the Province makes some clarifications regarding the ZRC for the 2014-2015 Hunting Season and confirms the ban on hunting the Tolfe and invites citizens to confrontation.
Following the news published in the local press and subsequent solicitations, the Province of Siena deems it necessary to make some clarifications and give correct information to the citizens concerned. The national law 157/92 and the regional law 3/94 give precise indications on the purposes for which the restocking and capture zones (ZRC) can be established or modified, first of all the reproduction of wild fauna in the natural state and the capture of the same. for the introduction and irradiation in the territory outside the institute. Therefore, their provision for modification, revocation or confirmation in the Hunting Wildlife Plan is dictated exclusively - by law - by management needs of a hunting nature. The first misunderstanding is therefore that these are faunal institutes created to limit the disturbance linked to hunting activities towards citizens or agritourism structures, hotels, etc. Municipality) to intervene with special hunting prohibitions (LR 3/94 art. 25 and art. 33), created to protect the safety of people or activities of significant economic and social interest.
Having specified the above, as the process of establishing all the repopulation and capture areas of the province according to the new Wildlife Plan is still in progress, the boundaries will remain unchanged until the end of the hunting season, so that the Tolfe area remains in any case hunting ban until January 31, 2015.
Finally, it should be noted that the publication of the act of initiation of the procedure on the praetorian notice board of the Province and the Municipality is aimed precisely at guaranteeing all interested parties the opportunity to participate in the procedure itself. Although more than 60 days have passed from the publication of the deed, considering that the Province of Siena always intends to encourage moments of discussion and participation, and that the establishment process has not been completed, the possibility of forwarding a reasoned request for opposition is not precluded. also for the owners of the estates excluded from the new ZRC and, after technical verification by the Wildlife Resources Service, the possibility of reviewing the new boundaries for the hunting area (ZRV), or of identifying tools, can be evaluated together with the ATC protection alternatives in the area.
The Province therefore invites interested parties, possibly through a contact person or a small delegation, to contact the Wildlife Resources Service (Director Dr. Serena Signorini; tel. 0577-241406, e-mail [email protected]) believing that there are all the conditions for a constructive comparison in which further clarifications and indications on how to review the procedure can be provided.
