The Management Committee of the Territorial Area of Hunting 2 Termoli has announced that since last February 13 the operations of spreading fodder have begun in various areas of the province of Campobasso in order to help those species most in difficulty due to the abundant snowfalls of the past. weeks.
The president of Atc 2 Termoli, Tito Lastoria, announced that the operations will go on until tomorrow, February 21 and explained "As a Territorial Area we have spreading of about 100 quintals of cereals and hay in areas with high criticalities destined to feed ungulates, which in the presence of the undergrowth covered by almost a meter of snow encounter considerable difficulties in finding food ”.
Going on he explains Lastoria again, “Like this in addition to safeguarding the health of the animals, it also prevents the latter from invading the cultivated fields with the risk of causing considerable damage to agriculture and crops in general, without neglecting the high risk of road accidents ". Continuing, Lastoria emphasizes, “Our intent is to safeguard, in particular moments of difficulty such as the present one, the hunting fauna species that populate the territory of our ATC”.
