Voyages Venatori: We report the experience of a hunting trip in Mongolia that a dear reader of ours suffered.
Hunting trips abroad as we know are the lifelong dream of a hunter who always hopes he can combine his hunting passion with the thrill of a trip to other nations to the destination of unknown and unexplored territories where to exercise his dear and beloved Hunting.
We report the Email arrived in the editorial office in full version in order not to discourage Hunters who wish to undertake a hunting trip abroad but to ensure that they are well informed about the Tour Operator and that the purchased program is always confirmed first.
Dear Management,
I would like to advise the hunting friends who intend to make a hunting trip to Mongolia to hunt partridge and black grouse to strongly distrust the promises that the organizing agencies present.
Last year it turned out to be a big disappointment.
Almost nothing the presence of partridges and a few roosters, after inexistent censuses had verified enormous quantities of them.
The local organization, even if very kind and attentive, does not understand anything about hunting with pointing dogs and even less about the territories dedicated to it.
The journey is particularly tiring and full of unknowns.
Upon returning, the Moscow airport is full of pitfalls. My group of six hunters with as many dogs lost: coincidence for Italy, money, time and guns (these returned after more than a month) for inexplicable bureaucratic-corrupt reasons ”Of some airport officials.
Our greatest concern was for the health of the dogs which, despite being abandoned, returned alive after 38 of travel !!
What regrets and should be underlined is the fact that the organizing agency, among the most "professional", has not shown any regret, not an official excuse, not a phone call of regret.
Sorry to have to say this but for the record and truth I thought it right to warn my fellow hunters who are preparing for the very expensive "journey of a lifetime".
Thanks for the hospitality.
Marco P.
Sure I have put a nice flea in the ears of Our Readers, I just have to wish you a good trip but beware of bad surprises ...
