Hunting: Valserra, in Poggio Lavarino (TR) a debate with the national leaders of Arci Caccia and Federcaccia, "hunting is saved with unity from the hunting world".
The unity of the hunting world was at the center of the debate that took place in the equipped park of Poggio Lavarino (TR), in Valserra, as part of “Valserra, territory and traditions”, the event which ended on Sunday evening. The debate was attended by the national leaders of Arcicacccia (president Osvaldo Veneziano was present) and Federcaccia (the vice president, Massimo Buconi present) and Vladimiro Boschi (vice president of the migratory association). The moderator is the long-time Rai journalist and writer, Bruno Modugno, one of the leading experts in the sector. According to Veneziano, “after the era of the referendums, the unity of the hunting world was lost in dozens of senseless conflicts. Today the hunting it is going through a difficult phase, characterized by attacks that come from a distorted, ultra-radical animalist culture and far removed from the healthiest part of the genuinely environmentalist world. Anyone who thinks they are going through this phase alone is making a serious mistake. The road that leads to the union of the entire hunting association is the only possible one ".
According to Massimo Buconi, “at the time of the referendum we had a piece of politics against. Today we have against an extremist culture that ignores the very foundations of the rural world, the role of hunting in land management and in maintaining biodiversity. The hunting world will have a future only if it knows how to operate correctly and make people understand the very usefulness of hunting. To be appreciated, we must abandon this image of litigation that characterizes us and finally implement political and decision-making cohesion ”.
Appreciation for the results obtained by the Umbrian hunting coordination was expressed by Vladimiro Boschi, according to whom it was "an important tool of dialogue that was able to incorporate the proposals for the elaboration of a hunting calendar which, although not perfect, is far better than those applied in other parts of Italy. We need to give continuity to this model of cooperation, even outside the 'official' tables.
“With the disappearance of the provinces who will govern the world of hunting? this responsibility, it has been said, cannot be assumed by the municipalities otherwise there is a risk of closure and even greater conflict between the territories ”. “Is it possible - asked Osvaldo Veneziano - that it is not possible to bring together the competent councilors of four regions to write a harmonious and homogeneous calendar? You can't go to war for half a day of hunting more or less. Beyond political affiliations, the Regions must open a dialogue that finally leads to concrete results ”. Modugno, for his part, has shown that he greatly appreciates the place: “Thanks to the invitation, I discovered a beautiful corner of Italy that deserves to be adequately valued”.
