The 2016 edition of the Hunting Village promises to be richer than ever, not only as regards the latest news on the market, but also for the cultural and entertainment events scheduled in the three-day program that from 13 to 15 May next will take place at Umbria Bastia Umbra Fairs.
The most important international gun companies - Beretta, Benelli, Franchi, Browning, Winchester, but also Fausti, Rizzini, Effebi and RFM, to name a few - will be present with the wide range of their productions, which fans can also try directly thanks to specially set up shooting lines, which pass from eight in 2015, quest'year, at ten. There will also be news in the ammunition, accessories and services sector, where all the most important international producers will make their products and their professionalism available, in view of the next hunting season. Among the events not to be missed, Saturday 14 May at 12,00, Browning will present at Caccia Village, in collaboration with Club Calibro 16, the new exclusive A5 Sweet Sixteen inertial semi-auto - literally "sweet sixteen" - for more responsible hunting. .
Among the novelties to be reported also those that will present Franchi, always attentive to the evolution of the sector. In this case, the Urbino company will present hunting weapons designed and developed specifically for female hunting, with two rifles from Catalyst series, a semi-auto and an over-under, intended for female hunters.
Expected return that of Raniero Testa, Extreme Shooting world record holder and Winchester testimonial that, right from the Caccia Village, tryà to set his seventh world record. Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May at 12,30 and at 17,30, on the shooting ranges, will offer all fans of sport shooting a new exhilarating show. On Sunday, weather conditions permitting, he will once again try to outdo himself, hitting 13 consecutive targets in the air, thus improving his own current record of 12 targets.
Speaking of sport shooting, on Sunday 15 at the Club del Tiro (Hall 8) there will also be the long-distance shooting course, a unique opportunity to learn all the secrets of the most expert shooters, in collaboration with Armeria Paoletti and the Terranuova Bracciolini Shooting Association. Also on Sunday the traditional returns Dog exhibition dedicated to the memory of Ivo Angeli, at the end of a three-day event, demonstrations and meetings dedicated to four-legged friends.
Absolutely not to be missed to find out more are two seminars: the first organized on Saturday afternoon by the Migratory Fauna Office of FIdc entitled Knowing to manage traditional migratory hunts. The second organized by Caccia Village in collaboration with the prestigious magazine Armi e Tiro, on the evolution of hunting ammunition in an ecological guise: "Lead free: usefulnessà and effectiveness". Space also to the training, with technical workshops organized with experts on various topics, such as those carried out in collaboration with SKY Hunting and Fishing, Weapons and Shooting and the experts Luigi Giusti and Giulio Arrigucci; to with the photo shows a huntress d'excellence, the Aosta Valley Maria Elena Udali, already winner of numerous international awards, with her shots related to the world of hunting but also of nature. Then al hunting tourism, with the innumerable and original proposals in Italy and abroad and, finally, the inevitable space for culture linked to the world of hunting, with book presentations: Springer: gun dog by Vladimiro P. Palmieri, and Wildlife Economy - The new Paleolithic by Prof. Bernardino Ragni, already proposed at EXPO2015 and the Chamber of Deputies. And then moments of meeting and the now traditional award ceremony Opera Venandi which, every year, pays homage to personalities and companies that have distinguished themselves for the diffusion of careful hunting and in balance with the environment.
In addition to hunting, however, there will be spaces dedicated to fishing in its many specialties and shooting, in collaboration with the Italian Shooting Federation which, once again, renews its support for the event. Caccia Village is therefore confirmed as the most important exhibition market in the hunting, outdoor and sport shooting sector in Central Italy. Last year, the numbers of the fair were clear: 32.000 visitors, 25.000 square meters of exhibition space, 300 exhibitors.
