It's been exactly eight months since the terrible earthquake which has upset a large part of central Italy, devastating cities such as Amatrice and Accumoli. The seismic crater encompasses 131 municipalities in the Marche, Umbria, Lazio and Abruzzo regions, struggling with a difficult restart, in particular from an economic point of view. The 2017 edition of Hunting Village in Bastia Umbra it will be an opportunity to talk about this too. Indeed, on Sunday 14 May the Sala Europa will host a debate focused on a good that is particularly present in these areas, namely the wildlife.
The animals were not scratched by the earthquake and according to Professor Bernardino Ragni you can bet on them to do business. Last year Ragni presented always at Caccia Village his book "Wildlife Economy" and this time he will illustrate what his idea is. The project foresees three possible paths. The first is that of the food chain, then there is that of the hunting chain and finally that of the naturalistic chain.
This means that game can be skilfully exploited as a resource creating special food and wine tours: the hunted meat would attract a good number of tourists, as well as naturalistic observation and photography. The goal is to unite the intentions of hunters, naturalist entrepreneurs.
