The episode from a few days ago
The Province of Trento has officially identified the bear that chased a hiker a few days ago near Molveno, fortunately without physical consequences for the protagonist of this story. This would be M91, a young male born in 2022 and who would have shown more curiosity than aggression.
No problems
To make it official it was necessary to complete some genetic analyzes on the finds that were collected along the road where the close encounter took place. The specimen in question does not have a history of general problems and aggression, as well as with regards to the parents, as has been underlined by the Province itself.
Operational protocol
The communication arrived during an operational meeting at the Trento government police station. The summit was an opportunity to develop some mechanisms linked to the operational protocol which takes into consideration different cases: from simple sightings to close encounters.
