For the third year in a row, the gathering of "Wild boars what a passion" took place, on 14/15 June, the gathering of the group of cignalari born on facebook 3/4 years ago. A lot of passion and charity.
Third year in a row for the meeting of "Boars what a passion ”and, for the second year in the splendid setting of“ Il Piancardato Country Hause ”. Once again the founders and administrators of the page in question: Silvia Mafucci, Claudio Mantrici, Daniele Pacelli and Moreno Rossetti, all cited exquisitely in alphabetical order, except that Silvia who took precedence for cavalry duty, took on honors (few) and costs (many) to better organize the new event. During the two days of the meeting, in particular in the first one, other people joined these four dear friends, for small but no less important help, so that everything ran smoothly and smoothly. This latter event presented significant innovations, both in the organization and in the purposes, and this year too, as in the previous ones, there was a conspicuous increase in the number of respondents.
For the record, I would like to remind you that in the first, we were 70/75 diners, in the second it doubled, 150 the number reached, finally in the latter it just missed doubling again, the guests on the second day, which was then the highlight of the meeting, they reached about 280 units. There was no shortage of families with children in tow, it is now a custom that is gradually consolidating, also because the structure gives the possibility to children to have fun in complete safety, also having the availability to spend part of the day in the pool with all the precautions that the boys involve.
But let's come to the pleasant news, and to the more than laudable purpose that has come to add to our personal pleasure of finding ourselves all together, agreeing from all over Italy to shake hands, old friends in an embrace, and to make new and welcome friends. , no longer virtual, completely cold and impersonal, as the keyboard of a PC imposes for 363 days a year for most members of the group, but real, feel, looking into the eyes of old and new friends, exchanging smiles, jokes , hints of complicity at the time of the jokes to others, advice is all that is possible with direct and pleasant contact between people sharing a common passion: Hunting.
This year, Silvia, Claudio, Daniele and Moreno had anticipated that there would be surprises for the gathering, in my humble opinion if there were (and there have been) surprises they ended with a bang, or if you prefer, with the classic “icing” on the cake. First of all there were a slew of sponsors, who did not skimp on the quantity and quality of the gifts, allowing a lottery among all those present. Inside the structure where we were guests, there is also the opportunity to try their hand at shooting with the current silhouette, and at the more classic clay pigeon shooting. This last premise, which helped me to justify the presence and great performance of Raniero Testa, world champion and record holder in dynamic volley. Who, in addition to demonstrating his great skills as a shooter, also gave ample proof of being a champion of availability and self-irony, having fun and entertaining how many of us were witnessing his splendid performances, even with hilarious jokes involving some of those present, me included. In addition to being a great champion, we have certainly discovered a nice and easygoing guy. Now we come to what I have called the "bang" the "icing" on the cake. The surprise on which everyone gave their unconditional consent: Charity, or rather, donations for charitable purposes.
The final act of a journey started a few years ago by a group of people, of virtual friendships, and which was born from the need for an ancient, primordial heritage, that of aggregation, of direct contact with our fellow men, which has gradually evolved until it flows into the most natural, sublime and noble part of the human soul, helping those who have been most unfortunate. The proceeds from the lottery, our modest contribution, were thus destined and donated to two associations, to be precise: FISM Italian Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Personally satisfied for the two days of Piancardato. (PE) Do you want for the pleasure of seeing friends again, to make further friends, or for the two days spent in their company and in perfect relaxation, put in the excellent cuisine, the friendliness and patience of those who kindly endured the irruption of a group of "cignalari", and last but not least the awareness of having given a hand to those who need our help, and so the picture is complete.
I want to close my modest contribution to the group, thanking the four (Athos, Porthos, Aramis and D'artagnanna) who with their work and their commitment have made this possible.
