Four days ago, Wednesday 20 April 2016, there was an important meeting in Rome between Confagricoltura ed Game Producers Authority. Specifically, the two presidents Mario Guidi and Martin Ganner signed a strategic agreement with which the agricultural association recognizes EPS as the main national level body representing the dealers of wildlife-hunting farms, agritourism-hunting farms and private game breeding centers.
At the same time, the institution recognizes and will henceforth recognize the Confederation as main Italian reference body as regards the representation of companies in the agricultural sector. Among other things, there is not much missing from another fundamental step that concerns the two associations at the same time. In fact, soon the national headquarters of the Game Producers Authority it will move to the Roman headquarters of Confagricoltura.
Until now, EPS has carried out its work in the headquarters of the Salita di San Nicola da Tolentino, a stone's throw from Palazzo Barberini, while in the coming months it will move to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. The relationship will therefore become even closer. Just two weeks ago, among other things, game producers organized a conference in Viterbo to investigate the question of privately run hunting institutes, a useful moment to underline its role as a resource and opportunity for the environment and the territory.
