Control room
The hunting associations that are part of the Tuscany Control Room, namely Arci Caccia, Enalcaccia, Italcaccia and Libera Caccia, reported what was established by the Region regarding a dismissal provision relating to a report concerning what is defined as “hunting attitude”. Here's what the cabin wrote about it: “An interesting provision comes to us from the Maremma relating to the report of the Province of Grosseto against a hunter who found himself stopped with his car in a rural area with his rifle unloaded and kept inside the car. The hunter was accused of failing to write down his badge while he was in a hunting position".
The rifle in the car
The note continues: “The Region believes it should proceed with archiving the report. In light of the complaint report, in fact, it is not reported that the man was carrying out hunting activities, but it appears that he was in a place suitable for hunting with the rifle in the car. The obligation to mark the day on the hunting card, then, arises at the beginning of the hunting day and the subject claims not to have started it. There is no proof of the actual progress or start of the hunting day other than the presence of the closed rifle inside the car, which should therefore be considered unloaded and in custody.".
Compliance with the regulations
Cab then added: “A provision that helps to clarify when the conditions exist for which those who practice hunting should be considered active or not, useful to allow greater compliance with the law and to reduce the risk of incurring sanctions in an unconscious manner. The hope is that the investigating bodies will take this clarification into due consideration".
