The company Bignami Spa has issued an important Field Safety Notice regarding its customers e some weapons manufactured in the Ora plant (Bolzano). These are the Carl Walther pistols model PPS M2 and the replacement of the safety on the trigger. Here is what the finger wrote about it: “As a distributor of Carl Walther GmbH we are committed to selling products of the best quality and safety possible. For this reason, we would like to inform you about a prior recall. Carl Walther GmbH recently informed us of a possible security issue with its pistols model PPS M2 in serial number from:

In very rare cases it is possible that a shot could potentially be shot unintentionally when the gun falls from a height of more than 120 centimeters and hits the ground at a certain angle. The described problem can be solved with a simple e fast update. These weapons are not to be used. Please contact the armory where you took the weapon for the upgrade procedure. All expenses will be borne by Bignami Spa. Guns that have already been upgraded will have a milled dot in the back side of the magazine opening. The Walther model PPS M1 is NOT subject to recall and does not need an update, even if its serial number is within the range of the affected serial number ”.
