The meeting of August 23rd

The works were opened by the Provincial President Stefano ARC and attended by the Regional Councilor Andrea Maria Antonini, the FIDC Marche Regional President Paolo Antognoni, the Commander of the Ascoli Provincial Police Eugenio Vendrame, the Presidents of the Ascoli and Fermo Territorial Hunting Areas Gianfranco Antonelli and Basilio Vitali, the Provincial President of Federcaccia Ancona Roberto Crucianelli and the Provincial Vice President of Federcaccia Macerata Michele Merola.
The rules of the Agriculture Decree
The topics addressed were various and interesting, such as the 2024-2025 hunting calendar illustrated by President Antognoni, also introducing the rules approved with the Agriculture Decree and the Italian situation relating to the swine fever problem, passing through the effects produced by the recent modification of Regional Law 7 /95, the details of which were highlighted by Vice President Merola. After the presentations and greetings from the authorities present, the discussion began regarding the problems affecting the Territorial Hunting Areas, but also the positive implications that the legal changes could bring to the management of fauna and territory and, in this regard, both Presidents of the ATC expressed maximum availability to the Councilor for discussion. In response, Councilor Antonini highlighted in his speech the regional administration's desire to improve management, acquire data, giving greater space to study and monitoring projects as well as concrete hunting activities.
Supervisory activity
A cry of alarm instead came from the Arctic Provincial President regarding the staffing of the Provincial Police, which coordinates all surveillance activities relating to hunting and control of wild fauna. In response, the Commander of the Provincial Police, taking the floor, expressed the hope for an improvement in that sense, always denoting maximum availability and professionalism in the exercise of functions. The conferences are opportunities for concrete and objective discussion, as well as representing moments of aggregation, which is why the Arctic President expressed gratitude to those present and to the authorities who attended, underlining that for hunting, today more than before, we need to invest in young people, involving them directly, in order to allow them cultural and educational growth (source: FIDC).
