Two different locations
The courses organized by Federcaccia Bergamo continue, dedicated to the numerous activities in which hunters are protagonists in the area. In collaboration with Uncza and the associated firm Alpvet, the association led by Michele Bornaghi organizes the course for people trained in the meat treatment pursuant to law. Appointment in Gromo at the Valle Seriana District headquarters in via Papa Giovanni XXIII 27 with theoretical lessons on 12, 14, 19 and 21 March from 20pm to 23pm and the practical part on 23 March from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
What will be explored in depth
Lessons will also be held in Trescore Balneario at the Flaccadori driving school in via Sant'Ambrogio 6 on 2,5, 9 and 12 April from 20pm to 23pm and the practical lesson on 13 April from 8.30am to 12.30pm. In addition to basic information at a regulatory level, management indications will also be provided regarding the sampling methods, terminal ballistics, the management of the strip in the field, as well as operational indications for the maturing and preservation procedures of the meat in order to also improve the quality of the product for consumption.
Registrations and other details
The course, under the patronage of Ats Bergamo, also includes a practical part with sectioning a carcass in order to recognize the various cuts and describe their use. Registration costs 100 euros and it is possible to register by March 10th by contacting the Federcaccia Bergamo office (source: FIDC Bergamo).
