CCT, CEDAF e Federcaccia Florence have organized a preparation course for the roe deer selection hunting. The lessons will take place next May at the “Lo Stivale” Recreational Club in Via Villamagna 46 in location Candeli di Bagno a Ripoli (province of Florence). This is an event designed for members of the confederate associations of the CCT at a cost of 60 euros.
It will start on Friday 17 May from 20:30 to 23:30 with the general part dedicated to concepts of applied ecology, the principles and techniques of conservation, management, environmental and faunal requalification and other generalities. Monday 20 May (always from 20:30 to 23:30) will be the turn of the legislation and the legislation concerning this hunting activity. On Wednesday 22 May, however, the three-hour lesson will be dedicated to general characteristics of the roe deer, its ethology, biology and behavior of the species.
On Friday 24 May everything will end with the wildlife-hunting management of the hoofed animal, the hunting behavior and ethics, the sampling techniques, the ballistics and the recovery of wounded animals. The organizers explained how the course is not compulsory, but still useful for greater preparation for the exams that will take place on 29st May. Applications for admission to this same exam can be submitted to the Tuscany Region by 10 May.
