To represent all the members of the Hunting Federation, who have worked in various ways during this difficult year in favor of the social, the Italian Federation of Hunting has thus conferred the honor "The Hunter of the Year" 2020 to the Provincial Section FIdC of Brescia, for having particularly distinguished itself among the numerous sections of the large Federcaccia family who have given a tangible sign of generosity to face the health emergency caused by the Covid 19 epidemic.
In the most difficult moment of the crisis, representing all its members, it immediately did its utmost to bring immediate and concrete support to the ASST Spedali Civili health facility in Brescia. Working in synergy with the managers of the hospital, it quickly proceeded to purchase and install 8 new pulmonary ventilators, for a value of approximately Euro 82.000,00. The Provincial Section of Brescia, with its intervention, gave an immediate and significant response to the emergency, putting a hand to its better weapons: generosity and solidarity. The award was ideally received by the Provincial President of Brescia, Marco Bruni.
During the Assembly, some managers were then awarded for the results reported in the institutional tasks of the Federation. Thus they received the honor of "President of the Year" Giovanni Ciccarese e Davide Bacciu, respectively Regional President of Puglia and Sardinia; the provincial presidents of Taranto Cosimo Colucci and BAT (Barletta-Andria-Trani) Rossano Daleno; the municipal Franco Borrini, from the “Lino Dalforno” section of La Spezia and Franco Scarcia from the Martina Franca section (Taranto). A special mention goes to FIdC Calabria which from 2014 to 2019, the only one in Italy, has increased by 1.000 members in a region where hunters, in 5 years, have instead decreased by 2.000 units.
