The city of chianni, in the province of Pisa, is ready to host the forty-second edition of the Wild Boar Festival, a very heartfelt appointment in this area of Tuscany. The total days of this gastronomic event are 8, namely a from the 9 12 November and then from the 16 19 November. The meat of the wild will obviously be the undisputed protagonist of the festival and the participants will have the opportunity to taste penne with wild boar and mushroom sauce, Chiannerina soup, roast wild boar, wild boar sausages and livers, but not only.
The stands will remain open for dinner from Friday to Sunday, while on Saturday and Sunday you can also eat for lunch. Among other things, the two Thursday evenings will be dedicated to themed dinners. The opening of the festival will be ensured by the event "Hunting at the table", a charity evening aimed at the Arquata del Tronto earthquake victims.
Saturday 11 will be the turn of the gastronomic exchange with the Radicchio Rosso Association of Dosson (Treviso), while Sunday 12 will be the turn of "Through the streets of the village: smells, flavors, traditions and live music". The theme of Thursday 16 will also be very interesting, that is "The wild boar meets the truffle", while the weekend of 18 and 19 November will be enlivened by the twinning with Roquefort-La Bedoule and by the folklore parade of wild boar hunting teams.
