The provincial section of Chieti ofNational Free Hunting Association organized four days in which to carry out a training and qualification course for the selective collection of wild boars and foxes. The calendar is easy to say: the hunting association has decided to focus on two consecutive weekends, that is on 24 and 25 June and 1 and 2 July.
The participation fee is equal to 60 euros, while the location of the lessons will be that of the hotel-restaurant "Il Castello" in Perano (precisely in the province of Chieti). Why exactly these two species? The example of wild boars is emblematic to say the least. Less than a month ago the local Coldiretti spoke of an "unsustainable situation" as far as ungulates are concerned, a danger for the safety of people and for the future of companies in this part of Abruzzo.
The emergency is destined to worsen with the beginning of the summer, therefore more training it can only be useful. The participants will therefore contribute to the selective collection of two animals which now represent a chronic urgency in the provincial territory.
