Simone Tofani, number one of the provincial section of Florence of the Italian Federation of Hunting, wrote to Marco Remaschi, regional councilor for agriculture. Furthermore, the letter was addressed to theTerritorial Area of Hunting Florence 5 on the initiative of his commissioner that he would like transform the Restocking and Capture Zones into Areas of Respect Hunting.
Here is the text of the message: "Some of our managers and managers of ZRC tell us about a meeting that took place on 20 September at about 15,30 pm at the Circolo di Sorgane (Florence), in which they were informed of a proposed resolution of the Tuscany Region which provides the transformation of all the ZRCs present in the territory of the Metropolitan city into ZRV. At the meeting was present, together with the ATC 5 Firenze Sud Commissioner Piero Certosi, the ATC wildlife technician dott. Andrea Capaccioli.
Confirming our position of absolute opposition to the transformation of all ZRC into ZRV and at the same time also a Resolutions that do not take into account the territorial organization, as the new PFVP should foresee, we complain about the lack of involvement in the discussion of the most representative Hunting Association (the Federcaccia di Firenze) and we consider it rather singular that a commissioner draws lines of management policy in the prorogatio phase, when in our opinion his role should be to lead the territorial area towards the new collegial management identified in the Management Committee ".
