Confagricoltura and various hunting and environmental associations have organized a course for the hunters of Grosseto willing to learn more about consumption and the game meat processing. The training course is targeted and specific, given that you can't joke around with game. The pathologies related to these meats are different, consequently eat raw or poorly cooked meat it risks inducing infections and diseases.
As explained by the Grosseto section of the agricultural association, in the European Union they are registered every year at least 320 thousand cases of zoonoses (precisely diseases and infections) and in a territory suited to hunting such as the Maremma lessons of this type could not be missing. Among other things, we are talking about an area of Tuscany where the number of huntable species is very high. The hunting associations that contributed to the preparation of the course are Arci Caccia, Selvaginna Producers Organization, Enalcaccia, Libera Caccia, Italcaccia e Regional Union of Apennine Hunters.
The title is eloquent, "Hunter trained in hygiene and health": the course will start on May 26th and will continue on the following day and on June 7th 2018. The aim is to prevent the spread of diseases related to the consumption of game. The theoretical training will last nine hours, in addition to three hours of practice at the ICAM in Grosseto.
