Has been Nello DiBella, President of the FIdC Provincial of Catania, the first to be found in a state of neglect, in the territory of the Municipality of Mascali (CT), a specimen of Kestrel which had wounds. The bird, received the first treatment and placed inside an aviary, was then entrusted to the Guards of Federcaccia of Catania for the appropriate procedures.
In fact, it was entrusted to the team composed of Guards Giuseppe Scandurra, Antonino Galvagno and Antonio Rao, who after having communicated to the Chief Inspector Daniela Scuderi of the Provincial Police Corps of the Metropolitan City of Catania, Coordinator of the Guards, having heard the heads of the Wildlife Rescue Center, once the formalities of the rite, to transfer the specimen of Kestrel to the Wildlife Hunting Department of Catania for subsequent treatments (Source: Hunting Federation).
