In just under a week the traditional will take place “Festival of Pappardelle al Cinghiale” in Nazzano, in the province of Rome, a consolidated event in this part of Lazio e dedicated to those who love simple and genuine things. The next 25th April there will be precisely the typical gastronomic event in which the role of absolute protagonists will be up to the pappardelle, as you can easily guess from the name.
The pasta will be made strictly by hand and pulled on the cutting board, to be then seasoned with the exquisite ungulate ragù. However, egg pasta will not be the only culinary proposal of the festival. In fact, the menu includes the alternative of pappardelle al tomato and basil sauce, grilled chicken or sausages, grilled mixed meats, sautéed chicory, French fries and local wine. The food stand will be set up, as has now been the case for fourteen editions, in Casaletto, with opening scheduled for 12:30.
During the day, moreover, the exhibition halls of the River Museum, one of the attractions of Nazzano (it is located in Piazza della Rocca to be precise), you can participate in the seventh Bio and Geodiversity Festival. Finally, from 10 until sunset, the historic center of the Roman village will be dominated by artisans and producers from the Tiber Valley and Sabina with their products, food and otherwise.
