From 17 pm to 17 pm Michele Sorrenti (Avifauna Migratoria Office) will speak, with a speech dedicated to future in Italy and Europe of snipe and whisk hunting. Daniel Tramontana (wildlife technician from the same Office) will illustrate the results of the Snipe and Whisk Project, in particular the analysis of migration, game bags and environmental preferences through the deepening of hunting diaries.
Mario Pucci (ISPRA) will take care of theringing of snipe in Calabria, while Silvio Marelli (vice president of ENCI) will talk about the agreement between ENCI and ISPRA for the cataloging of fauna data and the improvement of canine tests selection. Daniel Tramontana will also talk about the experimental operational protocol for winter species monitoring through pointing dogs. Lorenzo Carnacina, vice president of Federcaccia, will conclude the work.
