Wednesday 29 May took place in Ravenna a public assembly open to all migratory hunters, in particular ofaquatic, in the presence of some members of the Acma National Board (Marcato Lionello, Marco and Gabriele Fasoli) and with the technical support of dr. Michele Sorrenti ofFIdC Bird Migration Office. The evening focused on issues concerning the management and protection of migration, an important and multi-national wildlife heritage, developed between interventions on the activities and initiatives of the ACMA (satellite telemetry, wings and data collection) to others on the status of some species in particular pochard and lapwing and on the evolution of relevant regional and European regulations and legislation (hunting calendars and review of key concepts).
The evening continued with a dynamic and motivated debate that arose spontaneously among the large and attentive audience involved thanks also to the numerous ideas (... and provocations!) That emerged in the various technical interventions. We hope that the input from this meeting can find following among the many fans that we thank both for the presence and for the interest shown, hoping that the indications and information collected can represent a reason for hope and make them an active part for a less troubled future.
A special thanks to the municipal president avv. Fabio Fanelli and the Provincial President Dante Gianstefani for the invitation e the excellent organization, to the RC representative for the competent information on no tox cartridges and to the Quacker friends who attended. A special thanks to Filippo Para and his entourage for the hospitality and the passion shown in addition to the willingness to represent Acma locally!
