The Roman restaurant "Filodolio Extra Virgin Cuisine" has been promoting the culture ofoil and its enhancement, raising awareness and involving consumers as much as possible. A series of themed evenings have been organized for a few weeks and tomorrow's, Tuesday 24 January 2017, is dedicated to game. It is about "Extra virgin olive oil meets game“, Appointment scheduled at 20:30 in Via Tripolitania 147 (African Quarter).
The organizers have thought about a program with guided tasting of selected oils and a dinner based on tasty creations, all cooked by chef Anastasia Paris. The menu will include an appetizer with venison pate on potato cream and sautéed cannellini beans, tagliatelle with wild boar sauce scented with laurel and lemon as a first course, slow flame venison stew with spicy mushrooms and wild chicory as a main course.
The dessert will be a goat cheesecake with aniseed pears and 70% dark chocolate. As for the oils selected for the special evening, it will focus on different variants and regions, namely Oliocru-Origins (Trentino Alto Adige), Ramerino-Guadagnolo dulcis farm (Tuscany), Tenths-Emotion (Umbria), Americo Quattrociocchi-Olivastro (Lazio).
