A slow cooking
Hunting Federation San Donà di Piave this year wanted to add another event to its calendar with the intention of continuing to support the territory. On Sunday, April 27, the work began before dawn, when our friends Fabrizio and Michele, the skewerers, lit the fire before sunrise to begin a slow cooking of a skewer that at midday was nothing short of spectacular. Also present at the start was the Section President Andrea Tamai, who supported the cooks during the morning. Little by little, members of the Section Board of Directors and some associates joined to lend a hand in preparing the delivery of the portions.
The Patronage
The initiative was promoted with the Patronage of the Municipality of San Donà di Piave, for which the Councilor for Productive Activities, Commerce, Tourism, Events Lucia Camata and the President of the Council of the Municipality of San Donà di Piave Massimiliano Rizzello showed up at the spit. We recall that during the definition of the program of the event, AIL Venezia had been selected as the Association to which the Section would donate the proceeds. Alessandro Simon, Provincial President of Venice, showed up at the Fiorentina facility in San Donà di Piave where the work continued at a great pace.
Objective fully achieved
President Andrea Tamai expressed his deepest satisfaction also on behalf of the Board of Directors for how the day was carried out and realized, which we reiterate was the 0 edition. Surely this initiative will have a follow-up since the objective was fully achieved and that the proceeds of the event will certainly go to support the activity in support of the weakest. The Provincial President Costante Borin also congratulated the Section President for the great success of the day.
Kitchen Management
Let's not forget that the event would not have been possible without the availability of the parish priest of Fiorentina Don Paolo, who made the premises available to cook and portion the spit. Thanks also go to Mrs. Alida and Mrs. Anna who were indispensable in managing the kitchen. We close with a phrase by Henry Ford "Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success".
