A Val della Torre (province of Turin) the traditional is about to return "Festival of wild boar salami" which has now reached its edition number 17. There are two appointments in the Piedmontese town to taste a product that can make everyone lick their lips. March 30 and April 7 it will be possible to discover a food that is a real flagship of the area. We are talking about an exhibition market in which typical local products dominate far and wide, salami first and foremost as you can easily guess from the name.
Linked events are different. For example, a photographic exhibition entitled "Val della Torre ... as you remember it", a hobbyist market and also the event "Cinghialando and Cinghialando Mini". The latter is characterized by a series of food and wine walks suitable for everyone that end with the inevitable tasting of typical foods.
The distribution of polenta and wild boar and / or cheeses and cured meats further brightens the event. The 2019 edition will be inaugurated by a dinner based on ungulate meat, a meal organized for Saturday 30 March at the Tourist Reception Center. The organization will be managed by the association Pro Loco Val della Torre together with the municipality and local associations.
