Dressed in black and with a face distorted by hoods and scarves suddenly appeared in the countryside of the Arceto hamlet of the municipality of Scandiano (Reggio Emilia) where, in conditions of regular hunting activity and with the qualifications, three hunters from Scandiano were making a hunting trip. Suddenly they approached one of the three hunters, they surrounded him, mocking, offending and threatening him.
The hunter prevented from continuing the activity, the man decided to return to his car followed at a close distance by the 6 individuals who, by the tone of voice, revealed to be both men and women. Arrived at the car, shaken by the constant invectives and threats that the hunter continued to receive, a 32 year old from Scandiano, put the previously unloaded rifle in the car together with the dog and then picked up the 80-year-old gentleman towards which the 6 hooded activists had quickly headed, also extending to him both the threatening attitudes and the offenses addressed shortly before to his nephew.
The blitz was recorded by the six activists and the related video, subsequently acquired by the carabinieri, was broadcast online in a defamatory manner. The six activists, identified by the Scandiano carabinieri as 4 from Reggio Emilia and 2 from Modena, aged between them between 25 and 47 years, were reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Reggio Emilia for crimes of private violence, aggravated threat and defamation (Bologna2000.com).
