Last week ISPRA has released the data relating to game removals resulting from the reading of hunting permits. This is data of primary importance, because it allows us to understand the impact our passion has on avifauna, in total transparency and correctness in management.

However, there is no lack of the usual criticisms of the anti-hunters who go as far as to request the suspension and closure of hunting, distorting the reality with a partial and misleading reading. President Massimo Buconi made his reflections on the matter.
Hunting pressure
In recent days, the Institute has published the report on hunting pressure on Italian avifauna from 2017 to today. In short, these are the results of the analysis of hunting licenses with data provided by the 19 regions and the two Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano.
